We have a fleet of Samsung tablets (SM-T575 & SM-X115) that are managed by Intune.
We have deployed multiple managed google play web applications to these devices. Intermittently, when the users select a web application, an error message appears stating: {App Name} requires the following app: Chrome.
We are then required to get the user to restart the device (sometimes multiple times) to work around the issue and have the web application open in the managed browser again (Edge).
We ensure Chrome is not installed on these devices, however, one of the companies does use Chrome as the managed browser and is managed by another MDM and they have the same issue which implies that utilizing Chrome is not the solution and the pattern seems to be the Samsung tablets.
