google play services keeps stopping

I keep getting a pop up on my tablet that says "google play services keeps stopping" about every 10 seconds or so. because of this I cant even type anymore (this message was written on my computer then sent to my tablet.)

Lastly, I recommend trying a factory reset. If this does not help I recommend letting a service technician have a look. I'm sorry to hear that, have you tried running the device in safe mode? 

  1. Turn the device off.
  2. Press and hold the Power key.
  3. When Samsung appears on the screen, release the Power key.
  4. Immediately after releasing the Power key, press and hold the Volume down key.
  5. Continue to hold the Volume down key until the device finishes restarting.
  6. Release the Volume down key when you see Safe Mode on the device.

Oh yeah, and the reason I couldn't type was because I was using Gboard, which I suppose uses Google play services or something. At least that part is solved

Please perform the following steps. Go to Settings>Apps.

Tap the 3 dots at the upper right, select Show System Apps.

 

Do the following steps in order.

 

Select Google Play Store>Storage, then Clear Cache, Clear Data.

Select Google Play Services>Storage, then Clear Cache, Clear Data.

Select Google Services Framework>Storage, then Clear Cache, Clear Data.

 

Restart the tablet and check for updates.

I'm not seeing an option to clear data in Google Play Services. Is there any way to find it?

It should just be right there towards the top. Can you provide a screenshot when you click on storage for Google Play services?
