s10plus won't connect to projector

hey!! I bought my S10plus for work. I've been connecting it to my classroom projector using a Type C to VGA adapter because my projector is VGA. But since last week it wont work. tablet detects the external display, but there is no image. i tried with another projector but its still not working. 

Any ideas?

I tried every settings i could find.

@ProfSanchez I would verify that the USB C cable that you are using is rated for video. Not all of them are.

it was working just fine. so i think thats not the problem

Under settings>security do you have maximum security selected? That will block the USB from being used for anything but charging.
