Factory Reset to squash bugs

I had some strange bugs after updating to 4.0. For example, my media widget in the notification shade had invisible play/pause/skip buttons, my status bar icons kept blinking when using Android Auto, and in general animations were very choppy, janky, and sometimes very slow.

So, I factory reset last night, and it seems that all those issues are gone. S21 running very smoothly, and I'm having trouble finding bugs.

I really hope someday that major Android updates can be installed successfully without the need for a factory reset afterwards.

Hello @DrFed ,

Thank you for your tip. Ideally, Master reset is not required for resolving most issues. But it does help as last resort after an major os upgrade.
