For those of you who have never participated in a beta, not having Good Lock customization can be a jarring experience, especially if you've taken a lot of time to customize your beloved device!
However, after experiencing the same thing myself several times over the years, I've noticed that many of the suggestions we made during the beta program actually ended becoming part of a Good Lock feature later on!
Good Lock is a beast as far as customization goes, and it takes a lot of work to update it after a UI update.
Because the modules can alter so many things about our phones - how it looks and behaves, it can potentially add an extra layer of problems for people testing the beta on their devices, making it difficult to pinpoint issues.
I think these are just a few reasons why it's disconnected for the most part for most of us testers.
So while we continue to log and share our thoughts and concerns during the beta program, remember that the developers are working hard to improve Good Lock as well,and perhaps adding new features to it!
My advice is similar to other members who suggest to try to not get too discouraged and know that you're doing a great service by sacrificing a little bit of awesome now for better awesome later!๐๐๐
I'm glad I read this. I have been bummed out about losing my home up features/customizations. To the point I was considering reverting back to One UI7. But after reading this and really putting everything into perspective, I'll just wait and have faith that Home Up will be back and better than ever. I just hope it doesn't take too long. Thanks.
Is it possible to rollback to one ui 7 , I really dislike this beta , the multitasking UI is awful with the glitches and lag. I tried unrolling and using smart switch but the option to rollback was not there , am I doing something wrong ughh I wanna go back to stable software.
I think the reason it annoys me good lock is disconnected during beta, mainly comes to how cluttered the status bar looks by default. QuickStar really cleans it up!
