Iโve been testing some of the new features on my Galaxy S26 Ultra with Buds4 Pro, and one of my favorite ecosystem features so far is live translate through the earbuds. What I like about it is how natural it feels compared to regular translation apps. Instead of stopping and reading everything on your phone, you just hear the translation directly in your ear while the other person is talking, which makes the whole conversation feel less awkward. Setup is pretty simple. You go into your earbud controls, choose which side you want to use, and assign a press and hold gesture to open the interpreter. Then you select your languages, and once itโs running, your phone listens, translates in real time, and sends the audio straight to your earbuds. When I tested it, I could speak in English and instantly see the translated text on my phone, while also hearing everything back through the earbuds. Thereโs also a mode where the other person can read the translation on your screen without you having to turn the phone toward them, which is really convenient. Compared to something like Google Translate, this feels a lot smoother. You donโt have to pass your phone back and forth or keep looking at the screen. It just makes the interaction feel more natural. The only downside I noticed is that you still have to switch between listening mode and conversation mode on the phone, you canโt fully control that part from the earbuds. But overall, it still feels like a big upgrade from how translation usually works.

Im staring to think that these positive reviews are non sense. I can't even use the interperter to translate a recording on my phone. Or a YouTube video, so it's useless.
