My Samsung Dryer DV42H5000EW/A3 stopped heating today. There were no error codes. I knew about the potential for the heating element to break, so I checked and found instead that the wire connecting the thermostat to the thermal fuse was melted and the connector to the thermostat broken off.
What could have caused this? Is this covered under my warranty? How would I go about replacing the wire?
My sincerest apologies for the frustration and inconvenience this has caused. Please feel free to send me a private message with your serial number so that I can look into this for you. http://bit.ly/33ipYnO
