Washers and Dryers

Hi all,

I have a DV56H9100E dryer.  Been working fine(ish) since we got it a few years ago.  Yesterday, I pressed Start and it did...  Nothing.

A timed cycle does the following:

I press Start.  I hear a faint click (which I always heard right before it started tumbling).  The dryer used to start tumbling, now nothing.  On the display, I see the 1:00 as always, and the word "Drying" has a blinking arrow as if it's running fine.  This continues to count down to 59, then 58.  Then as soon as 57 appears, it immediately jumps down to 1 and the Drying light stops blinking.  Cooling starts blinking.  After a minute, it goes to 0 and plays its litle song as though it's done and run a successful cycle.

No error codes or any other weird behavior, it just does nothing!

Help?  Thanks!

Nevermind, everyone; I have fixed it.  Removed the top and noticed immediately that the drive belt was totally loose.  Watched this video to learn how to get the dryer apart.  For reasons unknown, the belt had just jumped off.  Put it back on, closed it back up, and it works fine.

Took 3+ hours, but it's fixed for $0.
