I am having the same issue with my dryer. I have a DVE45N5300V that works fine as far as heating, spinning, steam, buttons, and cycles, but any time the door is closed the drum spins. I have tried powering off and unplugging for extended periods of time. I even removed the fron panel and disconnected the display and control panel, but the drum continued to spin even with these disconnected. Based on all of the post for similar issues, this seems to be a pattern with Samsung driers. Every appliance in my home is Samsung, but I am going to have to seriously consider other manufacturers if I keep having these types of issues with no useful feedback from Samsung.
Our sincerest apologies for the frustration and inconvenience this has caused. Please send us a private message with your serial number.
The dryer, like many other Samsung dryers, will not shut off when cycle ends. I must open the door to stop drum from turning. Pressing the power off button does nothing. I've read several posts on this website, and many dryers have the same issue. Why doesn't Samsung recognize this and correct it? The dryer is two years old, this is ridiculous.
It seems that your dryers are very faulty and will not last for more then a few years. MY dryer DV48H7400GW/A2 will not turn off.
what is the solution to this. how can we fix it.
