Washers and Dryers

I have a 2 year old Samsung dryer (Samsung 7.5 cu. ft. Electric Dryer in White Store SKU # 1000044961 Internet # 204993478 Model # DV42H5000EW ) Will my current dryer work with this new washer? Will it be able to stack on top?

I understand that my old dryer is not the one that was ideally designed to fit stacked on top of this washer, but will it still work with this washer?

For reference, this is the stacking kit number for my current setup:
Samsung 27 in. 3-Piece Front Load Washer and Dryer StackingKit
Store SKU # 1004307247
Internet # 309367621
Model # SKK-8K

Hi there! Thanks so much for asking about this! According to our parts website (linked below) the dryer model DV42H5000EW was originally designed to be compatible with the stacking kit model SKK-7A. However, the stacking kit model SKK-8K was designed to replace the SKK-7A stacking kit. This means that your dryer will fit the SKK-8K stacking kit!
