Samsung DV80F5E5HGW Heat Pump Dryer

JUMP TO SOLUTION

I have Samsung DV80F5E5HGW Heat Pump Dryer. It worked perfect for 4 years. However, a dryer started indicate a full water tank sign yesterday. It happed just a first time for me, because every time I drain the tank after 1 - 3 cycles of drying. After indication started I have drained the tank. Unfortuntly, the indication started again for more 2 times. Just a glass of water was inside. An error 5E was indicated after I have started the drying again.
I had a call to local Samsung service. I was asked to clean a filter of water outlet (I am not sure where it could be). Also things I should do:
run a empty cycle
calibrate the machine

turn of the power for 10 minutes.

Does anyone had similar issues?

Regard

Hi everyone!
it was found that the particulate issued of my Samsung dryer is described in this blog:

The problem is SWITCH FLOAT.
I am thankful to the local technician that help me and to the "mihosoft" that have written down the whole issue very nicely.
