I have a SamSung SDC1A809 tumble dryer. A while back there was some electrical surges and thr machine stopped working. Looking around the old interwebs I found a possible solution. On the control board (DC41-00129A) the power regulator chip had released its magic smoke (TNY277PN). I ordered from the well know red and white chinese supplier (could not find any in my country Namibia). After waiting a month for them to arrive, I remived the exploded chip and replaced it with a new one. Low and behold whe I switched it on all was well again. I decided to test thr machine, ran it empty, no problems. Got my wife to do a load of laundry so I could properly test the fix. Put in the wet laundry, started the machine and went to have a cup of tea. Came back 30-40 minutes later and the machine was dead again. No amount of slapping or cursing would revive the machine. Now I am looking for a replacement control board. Aparently I bought the only Samsung tumble dryer to have NEVER had any spare parts on the market. I have looked almost everywhere, ebay, interwebs, aliexpress, all manner of supposedly legit online parts stores... and nothing, nada, zip, zero...
I would like to know if any of you guys of the community knows where I can get a control board. I would like to fix this tumble dryer, because it works very nicely, and my budget is a bit limited to just up and go buy a new one.
So I am placing the fate of my machine in your, the communities, hands.
The number on both sides of the control board reads as follows DC41-00129A
If anybody knows where I can find such a board, I would en eternally gratefull!
