I recently connected my Samsung top-loading washer (WA54M8750AW/A4) to my Smartthings home hub. My Smartthings App asked if I wanted to update the washer software (firmware?) I clicked okay. At some point, I presume that the software update either failed or got interrupted because now the washer will not turn on and the lid is locked (with a load of clothes in it...)
I unplugged the unit and let it sit for about 30 minutes and still nothing: no lights, no sounds, lid still locked, like the washer is completely dead. If anybody has experienced this and has any insight, I would appreciate some guidance. Thank you for your help.
