Washers and DryersMy 2014 Samsung Washer front load, model number 592-49474 has recently started to smoke on high spin. Bearings seem ok, Spider arm has some rusted out areas but still very intact. The drum balance ring does have something in it that rattles. What’s making it smoke? No visible signs on anything rubbing..
Hoping to replace the spider arm, bearings, possibly the balance arm and drum o-ring. All the controls work okay, no overheating there.
Any suggestions on what’s causing the white smoke?

Washers and DryersHello! Thank you for reaching out! This is something that will require service. Here in the community, we are only able to do general troubleshooting. Anything that involves taking apart the machine would be more than what we can do here. It would be recommended to have a technician look into this. Please feel free to either call in at 1 (800) 726-7864 or send me or any of the other moderators a private message with your full model and serial number.

Washers and DryersIt is advisable to refrain from using the washer until it has been inspected by a certified Samsung Repair technician to ascertain the underlying cause of the issue. It is challenging to pinpoint the precise cause of the smoke.

Washers and DryersYeah if we all had the $ to wait for a certified tech. I’ve repaired equipment in the past that was a lot more complex than this machine.
What im looking for is anyone who has experienced this issue with this model. There are a few design flaws that are contributing to the issue here. Thanks for your reply, take care.
