Samsung washing machine continuously spins and rinse

Hello have a Samsung washer that is acting up.  Model #WA400PJHDWR/AA .  It goes thru cycle and once it goes into spin it will add water and adds another 10 minutes to spin... Check drain pump for any clogging and it was clear. Also check goes from pump to drain wall and it is clear as well.   I have unplugged machine wait 30 min and plug back in and no luck.  can you advise me as to what is going on, thanks in advance.

The load is unbalanced, it is adding water to counterweig...

The load is unbalanced, it is adding water to counterweight it. Redistribute the load evenly and restart drain and spin.

Re: The load is unbalanced, it is adding water to counterweig...

Is there any type of software update to fix this issue? It happens to me when trying to use just the spin cycle alone, what a horrible waste of water!!!  Can’t it just error and stop to  allow a manual adjustment of the items inside?

Thank you,

jennifer

All,

I recently cured my washer of this issue. May work for some, probably not all. I replaced the dampening rods (on Amazon for a little over $100 for all four rods) AND i placed two plywood boards under the feet of the washer, 1 board across the front feet and 1 board across the rear feet. Rod replacement is easy even if you have zero handy skills.

 Backstory notes:

- Just moved into house from another state (washer was in transit on a moving truck)

- Purchased washer new in 2015

- Same issue as all others have posted after we moved into new house. The bedding cycle was the only one we could use without constant rinsing/spinning.

- Used a leveler, but the bubbles lied to me and here's why. Previous owner had that cheap roll and stick flooring in the laundry room which has minor depressions throughout. So even though the floor is level and the washer was level on the floor (so said the leveler bubbles) those minor depressions were causing imbalance during the wash cycle. I put two thin pieces of leftover plywood underneath as stated above and wahhh lahhh. Did i waste money on the suspension rods you ask? Maybe. But the way the machine was acting prior to replacing the rods makes me think they would've needed to be replaced anyway, and still a lot cheaper than a new machine. Hope this helps at least one person as this was very frustrating for my wife and I.
