So I was one of the first ones to have my washer explode and had to get a second samsung and pay an extra difference to get a different model (after Samsung had to pay to repair my dry wall repair). My second one ended up being recalled too and I ended up getting this third samsumg washer at the end of 2017 (obviously my dumb self trust those weak washers again).
After a couple weeks the pre wash tray under the glass lid fell off. (the attachemnt points are too small and weak to even hold the weight of the water). I said ok I can live without that feature.
Guess what? Now the plastic around the left hinge broke and the piece of junk is useless. All the attachment points inside the lid are made of a weak plastic not able to hold the weight of the heavy glass when the door is open therefore braking and leaving the left and right hinges unbalanced. That causes the outer plastic molding around the left hinge to break when you close the lid.
On top of that, it happens on a sunday when their "customer support" is closed.
Wish I had a way to get this repaired under warranty.

I had the exact same issue with my washer. Had no idea about a recall and paid a repair man $250 for a new lid. That was in June. Now 7 months later the exact same thing happened to the left hinge on the new lid. I’m looking for some help on what otherwise has been a dependable washer.
Thank you for reaching out. Can you please drop a private message here: http://bit.ly/2JH2rq2 with the full model and serial numbers of the washing machine?
We recently had the same problem. The left hinge of the lid (not the active wash basket but the machine itself) is broken. The machine was not abused. The gray plastic around the hinge is shattered, and the lid will not close properly, so tha machine cannot be used.
The same thing happened to us. WA52M7750AV broke at the left hinge. The hinge popped through the gray plastic siding. Now it is lifting the glass panel when I close the lid. I would really like some assistance with this. @Anonymous @SamsungAdam Thanks.
We are sorry to hear that, can you send me a private message with your full serial number to look into all options possible?
