Flex washer error code 1dc4.  We cannot get it to clear or continue wash cycle.  Both doors are securely closed.  Wet clothes trapped inside.  Washer model number: WV55M9600AW/A5

This error means that the door is not detected as closed and locked.

Check that the latch is securely fixed, laundry or other items are not caught in the door, and the door is closed and secured correctly.If the code cannot be corrected or if there is damage to the door or latch, the washer will need service. 

 

If the above troubleshooting steps didn't help, here are some service options:

 

- If your unit was recently purchased, you can check with your retailer on their return/exchange process.

- If you have an extended warranty you can reach out to them to have service processed.
