out of balance all size loads

JUMP TO SOLUTION

I have a wa456drhdwr/aa that about 2 month ago started getting out of balance error, the washer is approx. 6 years old. I have tried everything that I have found on the internet. I have heard from service personal that at this age the suspension support roads start going bad. I have watch it being done on the internet and it appears to be pretty simple a job. If this is a good solution I am willing to do the job or have it done.  If someone will give me the part number and approx. cost and how to tell if all 4 should be replaced or how to tell if one is worn out and needs to be replaced.

Re: out of balance all size loads

JUMP TO SOLUTION

Hello there,

  • The current load in the washer is unbalanced inside the tub. An Ur code (Unbalanced Load Retry) means the washer is going to try to add more water, try to balance the load, and then try the spin cycle again. This will extend the length of the cycle. All the other codes in this section mean the washer will stop and fail to complete the cycle.
  • To fix this, pause the cycle if needed, and then verify that the washer is not overloaded. Redistribute the load to balance it, or add or remove items as necessary to keep the weight evenly around the tub. Heavy or single items may not spin well on their own, so additional items may be needed to balance the load. And if you're washing pillowcases, take the pillows out of them first. It also helps to make sure the selected cycle matches what is being washed.

Run calibration mode on your washer:

1. Remove laundry or any contents in the machine.

2. On the WA456, press the Delay Start and Eco Plus buttons simultaneously, and then press
the Power button. On the WA422 or WA400, press the Delay Start and Pre Soak buttons
simultaneously and then press the Power button. The machine turns on.

3. Press the Start/Pause button to activate “Calibration Mode”.

4. The pulsator rotates clockwise and counterclockwise for approximately 1 minute.

5. When “Calibration Mode” is finished, “End” (WA456*) / “En” (WA422*, WA400*) appears on
the display and the machine automatically turns off. The washing machine is now ready for
use.

If the above troubleshooting steps didn't help, here are some service options:

- If your unit was recently purchased, you can check with your retailer on their return/exchange processes.

- If you have an extended warranty you can reach out to them to have service processed.

- If you're within the one year warranty, you can Private message one of our moderators to have service processed
