HMD Odyssey isn't recognized Limited area, room scale

My problem is that my headset refuses to center even though my room has plenty of light and the area in front of the headset is clear. On the rare occasion that it does center, when I try to trace my boundary, the dot representing the headset turns red and doesn’t trace. ALSO, my controllers supposedly always are in the “lost tracking” state even when directly in front of the headset at any distance and only track when the headset is looking in a very specific direction (up and slightly right), but the weird thing is that they show up floating in a random location (for example, up and to the left 15 feet) when directly in front of the headset... BUT THEY TRACK PERFECTLY FINE even though their status is “lost tracking.” I’m wondering if it has anything to do with the paint on my walls as it is white one the top half and blue waves on the bottom half and the controllers seem to sometimes track better when looking up.

Have you tried calibrating the unit?
