I'm seeing it when going home from every app. It's just not smooth at all. I sent in an error report along with a screen recording. Hopefully they iron out the animations.

Looks like we're down to seven apps that need Samsung or Galaxy removed from the app label. I was actually surprised that Samsung Music, Galaxy Wearable, Samsung Print Service, and at least Samsung Flow didn't get their labels adjusted as they're some of the oldest apps in Samsung's catalog.

Yeah, Google Pay never allows devices running Beta software to use it. Netflix was usually the same way but in recent years, seems like they've loosened up.

There are two buttons (Flip Horizontal and Rotate) that should be moved out of the way. They're a bit distracting when you're trying to do precise cropping. They're technically perspective options so they could easily be buttons alongside the Straighten button.

Don't get me wrong, I love and appreciate that Samsung supports Dark Mode in the majority of its apps. That's fantastic but it would be nice if we can take it a step further and come on board with better Material You themeing support within Samsung Apps. Even with Theme Park (when that gets supported with One UI 6) still doesn't allow you to change MANY elements of the UI. Something as basic as the dialer can't even be changed and given a new color scheme manually...

Hi, Anybody noticing how inconsistent dynamic themeing support is from Android 13 One UI 5.1.1 to Android 14 One UI 6? My apps that were all previously supporting my Burgundy color pallette are now gray and the ones that remained Burgundy by some small chance now have some element of gray in them for instance in the Settings menu. It wasn't like that before.

Thank you thank you thank you!!! Someone else agrees with me. I've been posting the very same thing on the Members board, on their YouTube channels everytime the do a release talking about how the whole point of One UI is to make your Galaxy your way and personalization, and customization, and even tweeting them about it too. They just REFUSE to budge on this and makes no sense whatsoever. It's so frustrating and archaic!! Then of course everyone comes out the woodwork talking about how the Good Lock Team allows a vertical app list in Home Up..... yeah, but they did the most ridiculous thing by adding that gigantic annoying Priority Apps block that you can't disable. They refuse to give us a basic traditional free scrolling vertical layout. People also say, well you can just use a third party Launcher.... Of course you can, but then you lose the Taskbar because Samsung doesn't allow it to work with third party launchers. I'm frustrated... 😁

You beat me to it!!! I was going to suggest the very same thing. I wish we could use Modes and Routines to switch the keyboards. Personally I would rather use Gboard on the Cover Screen and the Samsung Keyboard on the Main Display. I tried to poking around with making a custom routine and just couldn't. They should expand more settings access in there.

Well it is vibrating when opening already, just not when closing. 😁 Seems like they just made that a standard action. I can't find any settings for it.

Yes, but if you click the settings cog, you can see the mbps in the Network Speed field. This has been a feature for a long time. It's missing in One UI 6. It's definitely there in 5.1.1 on my S21 FE and Note 20 Ultra.

Yes, it's One UI 6 and yes, that is my WiFi network. In One UI 5.1.1, you can definitely see your Network Speed. You've been able to see that in many iterations of One UI, it's just missing from this one.

I noticed that too. No clue of they meant to do that and what the actual purpose is. They added this vibration and then took away the vibration when swiping away notifications. It's an odd area of focus to me. 😁

That is the correct way to activate them. I read they're only active in apps that support them instead of being supported throughout the entire UI. 🤷🏾:male_sign:

Hi, Just curious if the omission of Network Speeds was intentional or just an oversight? I hope this gets added back in because it's absolutely crucial in my opinion.

Hi, that is really strange. Did you try to the one from the Google Play Store or try to sideload it? I trust APK Mirror, personally. It's just very odd that they're store Music app won't work with the device. I don't know what to make of this one.

Oh for sure! This will be the third year in a row that we've gotten just a "refinement". And it really has to do with Samsung being comfortable and a little bit stubborn in my opinion. I feel like it's unacceptable too because they're becoming the King of missed opportunities when they have all the resources they need to make a foldable that could've knocked the rest out of the running. Huawei released an "outty" which isn't practical but sure is beautiful and an "inny" that has better cameras, a better aspect ratio, and bigger batteries. But they stuck in China, banned from using 5G modems, and banned from Google Services. Xiaomi with their Mix Fold... all beautiful and great with great specs but.. stuck in China and lacks good software optimized for foldables. Then you have Honor with the Magic V2. Thinner, lighter, better cameras, aspect ratio, great hinge, bigger batteries... AND has stylus support on the inner and outer displays which people have been telling Samsung since day one the messed up not doing that first with a digitizer on the outer display. I don't know. I love Samsung... I'm just..... confused.

I am. I pre-ordered mine after Unpacked. Is it a huge upgrade? No. Did I let Samsung know about themselves for this lack luster refinement? Yes. 😆 I am a bit disappointed because the Flip series has had a Cover Screen redesign with each release, yet the Fold series has had.... ONE. Consumers and even Tech Reviewers have been saying the Cover Screen on the Fold is just too narrow. I wouldn't have cared if they did an Ultra version this year to give the market that wants a wider Cover Screen (with the same height, let's be clear... No need to squish it down and give us the same problem the Pixel Fold has albeit software moreso than hardware) and release a regular version for those that like the skinny, narrow, non-ergonomic Cover Screen. I would've appreciated that. But to make us wait another year for a proper refresh and redesign was a little rude...

I'm not totally sure you can set Google Photos as the default but you can try this. Go to your settings and go to apps or press and hold the Samsung Gallery app icon and select app info → select Set Defaults → select Clear Defaults. Next time you get a prompt, the system should ask you what you want to use if it works. For videos, you'd do the same by searching for the Video Player app in the Settings. Hopefully that helps. Hi, I have not run into this on any of my devices. I wonder if it needs to be updated in the Galaxy Store. I know they have the app posted in both the Galaxy Store and the Play Store but I think the Galaxy Store one is more recent. Here's the link to the Samsung Music app page: https://apps.samsung.com/appquery/appDetail.as?appId=com.sec.android.app.music&cId=000001527281 If you've found my post to be helpful, please like the post. I was..... disappointed. Five generations of the same aspect ratio for the Fold is just unacceptable. At some point, people will wonder... what are you doing with all of your time and our money?

I have to be honest, I'm disturbed that the Fold 5 is going to have the same narrow Cover Screen. It's the fifth generation, the FIFTH... and many many many consumers and even reviewers have expressed that the Cover Screen is just too narrow, too cramped, and NOT ergonomic. Samsung just refuses to budge and I have to say... I don't understand it. This would have been a perfect opportunity to do better. They know what Google just released, they know Huawei has done it, they know Honor has done it, they know OPPO and Xiaomi have done it. They could have as well and should have at least two generations ago. Samsung has what those other brands don't...... nearly impeccable software designed for foldables. Just being honest.

Personally, I like the new AR Emojis because the hair moves now. Makes them feel more alive and complete however, I don't think I like what they did to the skin. They look flat and powdery. It's like they're going backwards for some reason. I also don't understand why there's still no options to change the body type. That's like... thee most basic level of customization. It's one of the main starting points of creating something personal. Cover image

Samsung, One UI 5 would've been a great opportunity to give us the ability to download more Edge Panels from the Galaxy Store and give developers the ability to develop more panels for the Z Fold Series.

Mine hasn't done this when doing double pressing the power button to launch the camera from the device itself but it did when I launched the Camera Controller app on my Watch 5 Pro.
