Looks like they're both class-10 so you should be good either way. https://www.windowscentral.com/whats-difference-between-samsung-evo-select-and-evo-plus?amp

Yeah. It won't mess it up but the USB hub will count as a USB device on the board. So if the TV only supports one USB device the USB hub will count as that one device and anything you plug into it won't be recognized. I doubt you'll be able to use 4 devices. I'm hoping it will recognize 2, which, including the hub, will be three USB devices. Let me know I'm curious now.

You'd have to plug it in and try it to see if it works. It won't hurt the TV if it won't work it simply won't work. It really depends on the board the TV is using as to whether or not it will support more than one USB device even though it only has one USB port. It may. It may not. You'll have to try it and see. Good luck.

It's also my understanding that unlocked devices get their updates pushed from Samsung. Locked devices get their updates through their carriers.

The video resolution can be changed at the top where it says HD, FHD, UHD, etc. The photo resolution options were removed completely. Try the Simple Camera app. It has tons of resolution options.

Interesting idea. It would be different to see small solar panels on the back of the phone. I don't know if panels that small would be sufficient to charge a phone though. The solar chargers I've seen are the size of a few books. Maybe when the technology can decrease their size and increase the output it would work.

Personally, I would get him a "dumb" TV, the same model but without the "Smart" streaming features. Smart TV's and Blu ray players may have the ability to stream but they were never really intended to and as such don't do a great job. Getting the dumb version of the same TV without the smart features will save hundreds of dollars. To stream I'd get him the Nvidia Shield.

The soundbar should be below the TV ideally. It sounds like you have your TV mounted on the wall pretty high unless you have a low ceiling. The center channel, or soundbar in your case, should be at head height when you're seated watching TV. The front and rear surround speakers can be at ceiling height but the center needs to be at your head height while seated.

Yeah I miss being able to simply choose a contact, click edit, then choose a ringtone you want to use for that contact. I don't know why companies insist on making things more difficult. If you figure out how please let me know.

@samsungS20plus Thx. I just turned the opacity or whatever it is all the way up so I can clearly tell if the filter is on or not. Before it was at like 20% so you were never quite sure but now it's very evident.

My edge lighting didn't work on Android 10 or the new 11. I have every app selected to use it but only one does and that one only works when the screen is on. Many people are having the same problem.

These are the wireless charging pads I'm using. They are compatible with the S20. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GW9S9TB/ I have one of these using a 5V,2A adapter and the second one using a 9V,2.3A adapter. The 9V is the fast charging adapter but both the pad and phone get very hot so you must remove the phone when it's done charging. Not ideal for leaving on the pad overnight. Using the 5V adapter the pad gets warm the phone barely even gets warm so you can leave it on the pad overnight. They don't come with adapters so you can use the one your phone came with and purchase one additional one.

I'm using some wireless charging pads that charge in both regular and fast charge depending on the adapter you're using. Keep in mind though the fast charge makes the charging pad and phone get very hot where the regular charge doesn't and still charges decently fast. You also must keep in mind if your using fast charge it's inadvisable to leave the phone on the charger once it's full because it will stay hot. Honestly, I don't recommend fast charge unless you must use it for an emergency like the power is about to go out or something. If you want to know the pads I'm using let me know and I'll find a link.

Lots of people have phone and text issues after the update. Fill out an error report. The more people who do hopefully the faster it will get fixed.
