won't happen. it's a standard android security feature. only way would be if you remove the screen security/lock yourself and have a password free phone.

There is a bug in DND with gboard. I'm not sure if this is a firmware fault, oversight or issue with gboard. If the Gboards haptics are set to 'default' the keys still vibrate in DND. If I change it to a numeric value (8ms feels about the same as default btw for other S20 Ultra Users), there is no haptic feedback when DND is enabled. No haptics is what I would expect in DND.

@MrPhotoMoto that's true but there are useful settings in there. I just wish there was a way to keep them applied. In my example I don't trust Auto to be delivering the best sound quality available. with Balanced I know I am.

When I listen to music I use the LDAC codec. While the phone does choose the highest settings, it does not do so for "Playback Quality" under Developer Settings. It chooses Auto by default. I don't trust auto. It would be nice if it remembers my choice of Blanaced next time bluetooth connects.

@bluefire I strongly suggest holding off on that. SA 5G has been an issue for me with the beta. My signal fails to revert to 4G often and leaves me with no signal. Mileage may vary for others though.

@Carljohnson52 that was sammobile incorrectly calling it 4. it was actually build 3. there is no beta 4 at this point. they counted the developer preview in their count. Beta 3 is the newest as of today.

no problem. I caught it a few minutes after it was posted so I doubt too many people saw it or even noticed it. when I contacted the mods they responded pretty quickly as well when I asked them to censor or remove it. anyway, hope you get this resolved. I've seen others have this issue as well. It seems to happen with a lot of messenger apps except Google Messages.

I had an idea regarding the blue light filter. Add an option for Using the phone's (or tablet) light sensor as a trigger for blue light filter. If someone goes into a bright room turn blue light off. If they go into a dark room have blue light filter turn on. I'm not saying remove the other options, keep the sunrise to sunset and manual options but add a light sensor option.

The Change log listed for update 3 is definitely not the full list. @USBetaModerator Can you please provide a full changelog from Build 2 and Build 3? I know these are not full logs because for example the camera is not mentioned but has definitely been fixed in build 3

if I could force the phone into 96hz refresh I'm sure it can be done via software. maybe not true adaptive, but it could at least cycle between 60, 96 and 120 depending on the circumstance/app

Please consider adding a feature that would show an approximate voltage and amps at which the device is charging. There are 3rd party apps but they don't work correctly. Would like to either see this on the lockscreen or settings somewhere.
