well if you do decide to I bet you could pick up a full system dump of your current update to keep on hand and always flash back over if it doesnt work out. Theres so much support for your phone anyways over on XDA that flashing it isn't much of a worry either. But I understand if it's not your forte' .

hmmm. just a thought but if someone dumped the files to APKMirror maybe you could sideload it back in . We already know it worked on your device so in theory it might still. Seems like an aesthetic design choice that you didnt have a voice in when they decided to remove.

For Right now it's definitely GOOGLES RCS Messages. Better choices for gif emoji support, live chat features, etc. and the fact that it fully integrates into Samsungs existing messages, I really forget sometimes that it's not a system app. Hopefully Samsung will get to that point this year but for now Google Messages is leaps and bounds ahead if everything else on the market. Not just with Samsung either but with all companies

This is what I keep telling people. Samsung is way ahead in development rollout so we are seeing 11 rollout to devices sooner than expected. Glad to hear you got the update. I think the issue with the cutout (ugly notch) has to do with other companies apps not playing well with it when we used the "hide cutout feature" so they are trying to improve it before bringing it back

Discovery+ is still rolling out to devices for now they recommend streaming from your mobile device. They are locked up with Google Tv+Remote which is a great option (that's what we use) but I think that deal is slowing their own growth to other devices

As far as LucasArts go I do know at one time they had an arrangement with Motorola for the Droid Series. That might be why other companies haven't approached. When Disney enters into agreements sometimes they extend the Rights far beyond even their own use of them and just sit on them.

That's because theres very Little in the way of Innovation coming from Apple lol. Its whatever Intellectual Properties they've begged borrowed or stolen or just plain bought the patent to they are dropping in "maybe next years" phone. lol I'm with you though Samsung should tighten up. I saw the info drop too. Not a biggie though. With everything announced at CES 2021 theres plenty to be excited for this year.

We want to head into Settings>About Phone>Software Information>Build Number(begin clicking on this until your phone splashes a banner saying you've entered Developers Mode). From here we will want to go back into Settings and scroll to the bottom where you should find Developers Mode. Enter here and scroll down until You find your USB Configuration Settings. Inside there you will be able to manually change them. Also above the USB configuration section you will find a USB Hardware Acceleration. Go ahead and turn it on (this helped finding the device correctly when our Chromebook Updated) Try plugging in your device and switching between configurations.

hmmm... do you know how to get into your developer mode? my girl had this issue on her S8 and it ended up being that she had plugged it into her car and it got stuck in the navi and music playback. Didnt matter how many times she plugged it into the computer it was reading that it was set to transfer files but it wasnt really. I can lead you through the steps and it might solve the problem

Chromebooks handle Webview Implementation a tad bit different then a mobile phone. They are kind of in the middle. Not fully a Web based computer not quite a Mobile base. Chromebooks will be fixed later this month with the 89 update dropping. As far as And_Sys_Webview] goes for phones weve only seen an improvement when turning All functions of video playback off. Which deems the entire site useless for handling any video playback. This would be a horrible experience for apps like News and stuff because it's hard to watch "Live Breaking News" if you cant LITERALLY watch anything!! lol...hopefully get it resolved soon. Time to get to my real job which is exact opposite of Computing but I'm with you. it's become so bad sometimes it looks like the equivalent of my phone with a Severe stutter. And I also Stutter so my phone and I are a cluster of nonsense sometimes

Weve found one of the biggest issues is that marketers are using a certain line of code that was created as part of the [Auto_Play] feature that normal apps use for example : when you are scrolling Instagram or YouTube and the video auto plays the first 15 seconds for you. This feature is great for users who dont want to click on videos every time but this line of code isn't translating correctly written how it is for adverts because their code editors forgot to implement the peripherals of the 5:8 or what have you size of your screen. Not giving the line of code a certain parameter to start playing means its misfiring over and over off screen. It's a laziness problem ,in my opinion, with the marketing department for these advertising companies. That or a lack of knowledge or care for the consumer. I think there should be more governing policies in place because this leads to complaints on the App itself and it's not the App Developers fault. He/She needs the Adverts to fund their app but at the same time its dragging their hard work through the mud. Catch22

It's the Adverts on the Page I wrote a full system review about a month or so on them. they are preloading further down the page off screen to deliver faster when your screen finally makes it to them. This is a normal occurrence but in the recent month or two the App [ANDROID SYSTEM WEBVIEW] has been severely lacking. It handles these operations. Been working with the Developers in Beta trying to resolve it. The adverts that are preloading are Resizing your page just slightly to fit themselves in correctly but in doing so are causing the page to shift ever so slightly and being that you haven't gotten to the advert at that point yet, it just looks like screen twitching and lag. It's gotten horrible on Chromebooks also. Working on it though but it's still 7milliseconds off. I'll bookmark this thread and let you know if there are any updates. Hope that Helps
