I would recommend that you check the microphone ports of your device. These are located on both the top and bottom of your device. Interference from blockage may be interfering with picking up sound. Additionally, if you have a case on your device. Attempt removing this to determine if the case is leading to what you are experiencing.

The easiest way to disable auto detect would be to use a standard HDMI cable with no ethernet functionality. This will keep your device from being recognized, but may lead to lower quality picture. I would recommend also reaching out to the manufacturer of your BD player for other options or steps they may have available.

I can understand the confusion, and understand your frustration. However, to receive the best support it is recommended to reach out to the developer of the program you are experiencing troubles with. Applications located on the SmartTV are still developed by third party developers and will require that they configure or determine what coding may be leading to what you are experiencing. Samsung would be only be able to provide limited support, as these programs are licensed to these companies individually. These companies would be able to help with additional steps or assistance they may have available.
