Okay so the reason you're not able to get it then most likely is it seems like Samsung does their bettas from what I've been seeing specifically for T-Mobile branded devices currently on the T-Mobile network at least initially and there's no way in heck you're going to get the beta while being on an mvno which stands for mobile virtual Network operator generally only the major carriers get bettas and stuff like that

Honestly it sounds like it might be a glitch you have three options at this point Option 1 play around with the settings see if you can't figure it out option to factory data reset make sure you back everything up to another device or to the cloud first option three if it's brand new and still within the return.
