Go ahead and clear out the cache and data from all your Bixby apps showing in the Apps menu from your Settings. Let me know if this clears this up for you at all.

Ah, so standard mp4 format. How old is your computer?! Sometimes I totally forget we're on Windows 10, but I don't take that much into consideration because I use Windows 7 on a fairly new machine I built myself. So that's my fault for just assuming is it was a pretty up-to-date machine.
We could dance into the specs, but I'm sure your wise computer friend already laid it all out.
Glad you're able to get them uploading for the time being, albeit the amount of time it's going to take to actually compile and render out on the upload.
Glad I could help even a little bit though!

May I ask what file type it saved as? All of this is great information to have and share with others that might be stopping by and seeing this thread.

Why I try my best to look more into this on my end, have you checked to see if your video drivers on your computer itself are all up to date?
I've only found some reports out on the web where this was a thing, some linked directly to driver problems, and others claiming Windows 10. The software itself seems to be pretty picky as others have said they didn't run into any problems at all.

Is this your first time taking a crack at stitching together using the ActionDirector software, @HeatherRose? The computer you're using, is it a Mac or PC, and if so, which OS version are you currently using?

I completely understand where you're coming from. The difference between those two devices could make all the worlds difference if any specific applications did not make a reliable version that is compatible with it. That's the only reason I brought up the Safe Mode thing, since that does in fact point directly to Third Party Apps being behind it. If you could get me a list of the apps you're using, I can find some time myself to look into any compatibility issues that might be there.

Wait, so if it worked perfectly fine while in Safe Mode, this would mean that a third party app is the culprit behind this. Did they not explain that to you? Safe Mode disables all third party applications and let's your phone run on all it's default system settings. This means somewhere in your apps, something is interfering with it. Finding out which one is the harder part though.

Our filter might have picked something up. So it's not the mic itself not working properly, but something where it's in that specific call mode. I'm going to see what I can find out about how that software changes when between those two modes. If it was physically the mic, it wouldn't pick it up at all while in speaker mode.

That's super strange. While on call next time, could you try toggling speaker mode on and see if they still can't hear like before? If it's fine, switch back to regular microphone and let me know if it clears it up.

Oh wow...that sounds like somehow everything is being redirected in those file paths for those applications. It could have something to do with a recent app they have installed. There's a quick way to rule out any Third Party Apps though, and that's by putting your device into Safe Mode. If you wanted to have them try it, here's a guide on how to do it easily - Using Safe Mode to Troubleshoot

For starters, mind if I get your model number and baseband version of your device. This way I know which specific model to look into and can double check to make sure there's no existing problems on this.
That being said, how long have you noticed this happening? Has it always happened since you got the device, or something that started up only recently?
