I do not have, nor did I ever have the "timer issue" I can click the hour, minute and second and type in as many digits as I want. I even tried all 9s starting with the hours and showed a 99:09:09 timer ready to start. Perhaps you should clear the cache on your clock application?

Exactly. Cars with head units and bluetooth stacks years old, but blame the phone. Blame the auto manufacturer who doesn't update their stuff after release. Bluetooth is standard, but is implemented differently by every device maker. Who's more likely to be at fault? Samsung which has to ensure compatibility across hundreds or thousands of bluetooth devices, or the auto maker that hasn't updated its head units or bluetooth stacks in years?

Empty Box syndrome as well...Have used this trade-in program for years without an issue, but this'll be the last time. Samsung emailed me a picture of an empty box. My trade-in was sent in the original phone box, and box new phone came in, with a little extra packing foam. Was completely empty. Apparently, someone has a handle on these returns, and we all end up paying the price. Samsung needs to seriously look into fixing this. However, if you need to send a trade-in back, make sure to use all precautions to CYA!
