Mine is too and it's not biometrics. I think the lock screen is just set on a higher brightness scale. I use a darker wallpaper for my lockscreen or use it as a hallway light at night!

I don't think there is a setting for exactly that, but there is an app timer in settings that may work for you. It's in Settings/Digital Wellbeing and Parental Controls/App Timers. You'll find all of your apps there with a little hourglass beside them. Tap the hourglass and you can set a timer for each app. Hope that helps a little

I don't have Instagram so my help is limited. Have you tried to wipe your cache? The hard way I mean? Restart your device, as it's booting up hold down both the power and volume down button together. When you see the little Android release them, volume down button to Wipe Cache then power button to confirm. It will literally take 1 second then the option list will appear again. Click restart. After it reboots try Instagram again. If that doesn't work, and it did work on your fold before prior to this, I would do a factory data reset. I know it can be a pain to most, but it fixes most problems for me. You can back up your data prior, use smart switch if you like but omit Instagram. Reload that fresh and don't carry any data over from a prior load. Wish you well and good luck!

I'd say wipe it, but I'm guessing they've locked that feature out. It can be removed, but more than likely, you'll need administrative permissions for that, which I'm guessing they've blocked your ability to access that.

Don't disagree. Not in IT but use to develop mobile software and run beta tests and participate in others betas but wow imagine running one in this size and scale!? It's massive

I totally get it. I try to remember that I've been on the new OS for over a month with relatively little issues and everyone else is just now getting it. Of course there are apps I'd love to run right now but it'll be here soon enough. I guess in my old age and years of developing and beta testing software, I'm just use to it. It's not just Samsung that does this.

I've also seen posts and screen shots on reddit from Korean based devices receiving the official Ota for UI 4 Android 12. Middle East as well. Which is typical for the roll out. Even though I agree beta testers should be updated first, it won't be long now.

I had a few irritating issues right after downloading. I wiped and reloaded. I tried a cache clean but it didn't do anything to help. After a fdr everything seems great

You've probably checked it, but don't have your Google settings to only update on wifi? I have a couple of apps that aren't currently compatible with beta, but those that would wouldn't because I forgot to set it to any data including mobile

I noticed the same but try not to focus on it for the first week of a new device. It learns your patterns over a short time and optimizes itself to that. I've never seen a drastic increase, but it always seems better the second week to me. I really noticed it with my S20 Ultra

If you haven't already, check Settings / Device Care / Battery. My setting for Powermode is Optimized. If in Battery, click the 3 lines top right... I have Adaptive Battery on, Put Unused Apps to Sleep on, Auto Disable Unused Apps on, and Optimized Settings on
After a few days with those settings active, I can go about 25 hours full to empty with nearly 7 hours screen on time and over 4 and a half hours of google play music. It takes a few days to learn your habits and adjust, but it does learn your patterns and the battery life is pretty good afterwards
Try that for a few days and if you're getting bad battery life still, might want to go with customer support with where you purchased it or if you have the warranty with samsung still.

There are a few options yes but since I typically dont use them, I'll just try to point out where they are if you haven't found them. Settings / Advanced Features / SPen / Air Actions. Can also scroll all the way down on that SPen page and under General it will show you the features available.

Had to switch to the members forum on the browser, the app wont let me reply again. Anyway to your issue. Google play movies wont allow a full screen setting for whatever reason but you can watch all of your Google Play Movies in your youtube app which as you said, does allow full screen. Go to your YouTube app, tap Library on the bottom, then tap purchases and all of your Google Play Movies/TV shows will show up there. You can watch them all your youtube app in full screen. It does keep the proportions of the video though so even though you'll be able to watch full screen side to side, your top and bottom will still have black bars and your camera punch out will be visible in the video. Hope that helps, at least as a fullscreen option

Does your case have a kickstand with a magnet that holds the kickstand closed? That's typically the issue Take your phone out of the case and try it. My bet is that's the issue. Especially if it's a localized issue.

Check in settings / device care and tap the button top right, tap Auto Restart and make sure your device isn't set to restart at night. Or at all for that matter if you're not wanting it to

I don't have it set for Gmail, but yes the settings are there for it if you're still referring to Edge Lighting. Check out the pic.
As far as it set for a reminder, I don't have it set for that either so not sure sorry.

Edge lighting works great on my 10+. It looked a little thin for me, but I'm now using Samsungs GoodLock and it works way better thru that and with more options.
