I finally wised up and left Sprint and I've never been happier and I have no more dropped calls or waiting for Internet to speed up it's already perfect..Verizon is the way to go after being on Sprint for years
I've had Sprint since 2001 and I've always had friends with better signal on Verizon at certain places we were at we had no signal and they did. We bought unlocked noye 8s so we could switch but we never did. I think it was expensive and I was on and I will grandfathered plan with the work discount for Sprint so we stayed cuz we're mostly on Wi-Fi anyway. Even my 9 plus was better than the 10 plus I just got but anyway we've been having problems with our phones and we just switched to Verizon last Saturday but we're still having some LTE issues and they're saying it's because we still have Sprint software on our phones. don't know if that's true but going to go take it somewhere tomorrow and have them reflash software and see if that helps. Cuz Verizon it's better than Sprint where I live. and the other day I couldn't even look something up on my phone standing in line at a store in the lady in front of me was looking up the same thing on her phone and had AT&t with signal and I didn't. This whole mess with the S10 is just crazy and Samsung says they're coming out with an update and they took down my husband's IMEI number. And then I realized my phone's acting up too but his is worse. And sometimes it will say 4G LTE with a couple bars but still won't do anything. And how do I test my signal is when I start speaking a text if it doesn't work and sending pictures little spin and spin. but I don't know I read that it's software I read that it's hard where people are getting motherboards replaced I don't know if Samsung even knows.

Hey I just wanted to post this as I was able to solve the issue. It is in fact a problem with the latest security patch from Samsung. So if you're having slow connection or no connection at all it's a very simple fix. There are 2 possible ways to remedy this. My problem was tmobile wasn't getting any data connection what so ever but I had no wifi issues. They were about to make me get a refurbished/used phone which I didn't want, or be stuck with a barely functioning phone. I did everything short of flashing a completely different version OS onto the phone (which would have made it impossible for me to receive official updates ever again) 1.(didn't work for me) Go to best buy and have the Samsung tech downgrade your OS & avoid updating till the next update. 2. (Worked for me) go to your closest providers shop & have them port you number to a new sim card. I tried just about everything & was about to get a used phone from tmobile to replace my new s10 plus, which was a sucky situation. Luckily the sales rep working thought of trying this before transferring my data to a refurbished/used phone, & it worked!
I just found this thread and you said the Samsung rep reverted you back to the old OS. We had March security update and then got the April 16th one from Sprint. We had problems since we got our phones but my husband was worse. We have unlocked but last week we switched to Verizon. Just wondering if we can revert back or if we really need to take it in and have the software re flashed? That is what Samsung and Verizon told me to do. But then I'll have to reset to the phone again will lose everything. I backed it to tonight though and may take it in tomorrow. First Samsung said best buy Samsung rep than she said u break it we fix it place and it's covered under warranty no cost to do this.

Is it mostly Sprint though? My husband's phone was worse than mine but mine was worse than my s9 plus. We got unlocked phones was on Sprint. His came from Samsung and mine Best Buy. We switched to Verizon and he put in a test Sim in both of our phones and we thought we were good. Husband's phone still bad and mine is better in some places but we both lose connection too much. Was going to switch before the s10 problem anyway but my husband's Note 8 was even better.
Samsung days they are aware and also will have an update soon. My husband wanted a new phone and they said take it to this place first and have them re-flash the software. U Break It We Fix It store. I called there today and was told our phone still had Sprint update on it and that re-flashing should help is that true? Since we took phone to Verizon and we did already have the Sprint April 16th update so would re-flashing software help? He said to do a backup cause we'll lose our stuff but it's worth a try. Today I had no signal sitting outside at this restaurant by my house.
Samung did say they are aware and their technical support was working on an update. I know it's mostly Sprint now I'm reading a few others including Verizon. I guess I'll just let this store re-flash my software and if it doesn't work go back to best buy but I'm over my time to return just like my husband is through Samsung. It's horrible! One place I never had signal inside on any one did have great signal yesterday though I love Verizon. Was wondering if resetting network settings would do anything and is so would I lose my saved passwords?

Same thing is happenig to my husband. He'll be listening to music through Spotify through his Bluetooth speaker while in the shower and when screen goes off music cuts out. Where is this optimization setting? He saw something about keeping awake that was on.

I just wanted a chime in I didn't read through this whole thread. I've been on another forum but my husband pre-ordered February 22nd he did the reserve thing where it said you're guaranteed on March 8th his had said March 15th all along. His cancel order button finally went away on Thursday and his shipped out yesterday he's getting it tomorrow. I was told if you're getting the buds included that it took a little longer don't know if that's true but people who ordered after him we're already getting the same phone.
and because they said you couldn't do two trade-ins in the same household I canceled my order and went in the Best Buy on the 22nd endless going to do prison white like my husband and turned around and decided to try the pink and I'm still waiting. But I can get one from Samsung and have it by the 15th but I don't want to lose out on the buds so I'm waiting.n it's crazy they said this was their best pre seller ever in 10 years. Best Buy corporate so they're doing their best to get everybody their phone within 7 days that's what they told me yesterday. And they get shipments in Monday Wednesday and Friday my pre-order never even had a date on there to begin with it just says we'll e-mail you when in. It's crazy the pink is the really hot color

Well tomorrow is the official annoucnement and yes when we got our S7 Edges we hated notbeing able to get a good glass protector. We prior had all HTC phones and had just started loving the Zagg Glass ones. Used it on 2 phones. I am still using a Zagg invisishield on my 9 plus husband doesn't have one on his Note 8. I had to have mine replaced once but it's been fine ever since. But the new Samsung Galaxy S10E will be flat and no curve the regular S10 I am not a 100% sure they are announcing tomorrow. I know the plus that we are getting will be curved which stinks & ultra sonic finger print sensor no telling what protector will work and I read one might come on the phone who knows until tomorrow's announcement.
