I have Sprint and I encounter the same issue but it's not often. I wanna say it's the network. It happened to me before the beta.

After installing the new update at 11:05 a.m. eastern time my phone screen started going off and on on the lock screen on its own until the top left read Samsung safe mode. I was able to restart my phone and noticed that what was causing it was the YouTube music app. I'm not sure if any other apps will cause this so far it's only happened with that one. Has anyone encountered a similar issue? I was able to send the logs that the phone automatically picked up.
