My Note 9 camera freezes also. Random, but when it starts happening it keeps happening until reboot. If I start the camera and aim it at a subject the screen freezes for 5-10 seconds, then resumes normal, then freezes again. I thought it had something to do with rapid movement of the phone to catch a picture, but can't recreate it. I am using auto mode Carrier: Verizon Model: SM-N960U Android: 8.1.0 Build: M1AJQ.N960USQS1ARJ9 This has been happening since I bought the phone when they were released. I have been waiting to see if a fix is forthcoming and finally decided to add my phone to the list of those with this problem. I can work around itm by simply waiting for it to resume operating after it freezes, but I have lost some picture opportunities because of this. When it freezes it does not save the image anywhere. Happens in landscape and portrait mode as well, flash on auto or off. I love all my Notes, and other than the "catching on fire issue" i have been VERY pleased until now. I hope we see a fix before the Note 10 comes out and that is considered the fix - altough I will buy into that if it includes a 50% discount on the price for all Note 9 users when have been dealing with this issue. So, is there an official Samsung position or update on this? Is there a better place to fo for help? Note: I am going to report this to Verizon also in just a few minutes. Thanks all. Merry Christmas.
