My ice maker freezes up, too. I have successfully thawed out the stuck, jammed, frozen ice and frost with my wife's hair-dryer many many times. It only takes a half hour or less, but were I an attorney working at home charging clients $500/hr., I would have lost thousands of dollars, working with a hair-dryer instead of on my real work. So, I am close to giving up. Put me on the class action list or send me an icemaker or whatever Samsung is willing to do that will let me get back to my life without a weekly ice maker defrost.
