I have 2 hdmi devices, PS4 Pro and a soundbar. While the soundbar is connected to the TV via HDMI ARC, the TV turns itself on. If I switch it to HDMI and Optical, the TV still turns itself on after some time, so I'm forced to use optical and the soundbars remote. You're saying that with switch you could use the TVs remote as one, which is nice. Would you know if there was a device similar to this switch, but much smaller? I'd only need one HDMI port for the soundbar, to fix the TVs bug, preferably one that wouldn't need an external power source. ... View more

@ user34mui8y3BU, if it happened after a firmware update? Could you make a factory reset and check if that helps? I'm not willing to resign on using HDMI ARC myself, but doing a total factory reset and disconnecting the TV from internet is a viable solution.  ... View more

@Smithy001, I've just recently turned those options, so far it was ok. For your yuv in hdr, you need a better hdmi cable. I have 2 cables, one standard ARC, and the other super premium quality with ARC. When I've connected the standard one to PS4, it has shown that at 2160p with hdr/60fps it would switch to yuv, but with the better cable it kept everything at RGB. ... View more

I have MU6472 TV. Recently I've bought a new Sony soundbar and connected it via HDMI ARC. The TV turns on by itself anywhere between 20 minutes and 8 hours since last use. Especially annoying in the middle of the night. I've tried connecting the devices with optical+standard HDMI, but the issue was still present. It seems the TVs Anynet function is faulty. Thing is, turning it off isunacceptable, as I'd have to use a second remote to control the soundbar, instead of the TV's remote. After reading the 12 pages here, it seems there is no real fix yet, the only solution is waiting for an OS update. Current OS used on the TV is 1210.8. PS. For people having problems with Samsung TV x PS4 Pro, go to the PS4 settings and turn off HDCP. If that doesn't help, go to display settings and switch everything from auto to RGB/full. LG and Sony TVs have had it resolved for months, no idea why Samsung is so slow on fixing it on their side. The only option is to disadvise buying Samsung TVs to anyone if these problems are not fixed. ... View more
