Wow, after I read your post, I closed my Fold 2 to check and thankfully I didn't see a spot. Based on the picture it seems exactly how a cracked screen would look (with the ink flowing out like that) Samsung will probably take care of it as they don't want any bad rep with their new flagship phone.

You may want to look at your edge settings. Mine works perfectly and has all the apps the you mentioned (calculator, calendar, etc.)

I just got mine 2 weeks ago. I traded my note 10 plus for it. Even though it is a delicate piece of tech, im loving it so far. I have kept my S20 Ultra and I use that as my daily phone because the camera is better than the Z fold 2 (also I've been lazy about transferring the data over), but the fold 2 has better multitasking features and makes watching videos amazing. It is definitely worth it if you are trading a phone in. If not, then I would wait as $2k is a pretty hefty price tag.
