It's not a problem of the phone. Most card manufacturers nowadays essentially cheat the consumers, by stating X gb and then at the tiny footnotes they explain that 1gb = 1 billion bytes, so they just redefine what the gb is for their marketing convenience. Check what the webpage of your card says at the very bottom: https://www.pny.com/512GB-PNY-Elite-microSDXC-Card-CL-10-90MB/s-with-Adapter So 512"gb"/1024^3 = 477gb (actual), which is close to what you see. These things should be simply illegal! God bless capitalism! My hope is that the upcoming Samsung card will actually be 512gb.
