Clearing the cache seems to have fixed the Wi-Fi issue. The volume issue turned out to be the update disabling the Use Volume Keys for Media setting.

Since the update to Android 11, I've noticed my phone has been changing settings on its own without my knowledge or consent, and it doesn't seem to be the work of any app. Wi-Fi keeps turning itself on, and nothing shows up in Wi-Fi Control History. All of the autonomous Wi-Fi settings are disabled as well. The second is volume setting, which keeps changing itself from vibrate to silent. Not sure where to check for settings related to that. I haven't installed any new apps recently, and Google Play Protect found nothing. Anyone else having this issue?

I just read about this in a news story while I was looking up info about the Samsung Galaxy S20, the phone I was planning on upgrading to, but now I'm not so certain I'll be choosing it. If there's one thing I won't tolerate ads in, it's a core app vital to the device's basic functionality like the Phone app. It's completely unacceptable, even moreso on a phone that costs hundreds of dollars.

If you disabled the app, that's probably why. However, on my phone the option to disable the DeX system app is itself disabled. And force stopping doesn't prevent the notification either.

After updating my Samsung Galaxy S9 to Android 10, I've noticed an annoying "feature". Every time I plug my phone into my PC, a notification from DeX for PC appears on my phone telling me about Samsung DeX. This notification can be cleared, but there is no way to acknowledge it (so it stops appearing) or turning off the notification. And because it happens every time, it's quickly become a nuisance. Is there any workaround or fix? I've tried to support it, but the official FAQ is useless because there is no Samsung DeX option in the Settings menu, thus no way to select the Contact Us option.

Looked it up. Given the game's publisher, the error message is most likely because your phone has been rooted, the app has been modified to allow cheats, or both. It could also just be you have USB Debugging enabled under Developer Settings.

Have you tried manually verifying that Google Play Store is up-to-date? In Google Play Store, tap on the menu icon, select Settings, then tap on the Version number.
