I did this on 2 phones and there was no difference. The 3ed phone will be here this Monday. Did the software updates as well..no difference. This is clearly a hardware, quality control, and or manufacturing problem. You can do your best to strung customers along untill the return time has expired but that's not going to sit well with your customers. I was told, "it would go away in 5 days"      Your samsung. You sell millions of "units" a year, sure your going to have some problems but this is wide spread and effecting quit a lot of phones.      We didn't need a work around we need a FIX to the problem with the reassurance the problem is solved, not just patched up only to come back.      This isue is not only annoying and frustrating, it also readers the device useless. I personally appreciate the attempt to help rectify the problem but what we really need ain a clear  acknowledgment of the problem and a permanent fix form Samsung. Yeah I had the same problem with my phone didn't stop them from charging me a 10% restock fee even though they know about this problem. Samsung us to pride themselves on quality, looks like that has changed and it's just about the bottom line now.      I reordered a new device so I'm hoping this one won't have the problem. I here that if you disable some gaming features this can help but I'm buying a phone with all those features because I want that. It's like buying a new car and telling the customer the care will run right if you don't use the AC, radio, or headlights..its quite ridiculous     It looks to me that this is a hardware problem not a software issue. If it was software it would be fixed by now. I'm sure samsung don't want to replace thousands of phones. So I guess there just going to keep selling them to unexpecting consumers.  ... View more

Samsung should not be selling this phone. I sent one back because I thought it was just my phone and had to pay a 10% restock fee. There are thousands of units with this problem. I ordered another one haven't got it yet but if this unit has the same problem. ... View more
