The clock shift to the other side of the screen was an adaptation from android to allow for notches as well as the camera cutout on the S10. It's strange but it's not that hard to adjust to. The keyboard can be resized if you find yours too big. While your keyboard is open, tap settings, then go to keyboard layout and feed back, then go to size and transparency. For battery options I don't know what you mean, my S8 got another option for optimized function and battery saving. All the other options are still like they were before on my phone. I can't help with battery though that seems to be a common bug, you'll have to talk to Samsung directly about that one. If you dislike the icon pack they are simple enough to replace. You can download Nova Launcher (or any other launcher) which will give you much more freedom over your UI experience and then simply download an icon pack that matches your style. There are many wonderful and free options to choose from. I hope this helps, I know many people were disappointed with the new icons but try to not let it sour your experience with this update. There are some wonderful new features to explore and use.

The schedule a text function does still exist it just moved. Instead of being under the tab of the conversation it is now integrated into the keyboard. If you tap the little '+' symbol and then move all the way to the right you will see it.
