I use color by keyword on my s22 plus and it works fine. You just have to make sure that the contact name is spelled exactly as it appears on your contact list (special characters and all).

So I hope I read your issue correctly. That your wanting to turn off pop-up notifications. My advice would to be to go to: Settings>Notifications>enable/select Brief. Then if you'd like to go further, on that same page go to Included Apps and disable the apps that you don't want any notifications for. Or if you have time and patience you can go into each app individually (Settings>Apps) and select to have the notifications be Delivered Quietly. But then you won't receive a sound/vibration or pop-up. Just an icon on your status bar. I hope one of these options helps with your issue.

Awesome! Glad I could help a little bit. I also just found this thread relating to Android Auto that might be of some help https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Galaxy-Note-Phones/Android-Auto-not-working/td-p/2351226

Try Settings>Advanced Features>Android Auto and see if there are some settings/configurations that will help with your issue. Sorry I can't be of more help, I'm not an Android Auto user. Bluetooth is easier for me.

Maybe try going to Developer Options (hopefully you have it enabled). Then go to Default USB Configuration, see screenshots. Hope this helps.

I was just thinking it would be nice to have the option to choose how bold you'd like a font to be. Unlike now where can only have a font be bold or not. My request would be for the consumer to choose how bold they'd like, like in terms of thickness. The on/off bold setting now isn't enough because some fonts are still too thin to actually appear as bold. And instead of asking every font designer to make a bolder version, the consumer could do it on their own. Also a better way to choose a font size. What we have now just isn't cutting it anymore. Hopefully someone from Samsung or a developer will see this post and add more options/choices to the font settings...and they're implemented sooner rather than later 🤞🏼 . If you agree or think this is a good idea pls press the heart button on the top right side so this post may get to the right person(s).

I read somewhere that if you do your fingerprint with a damp/slightly wet that it helps to increase the accuracy when your finger is dry with a glass screen protector. I haven't tried this theory out yet, but maybe it'll work for you. I'm using a tpu screen protector for my s22 plus and the fingerprint works 85%-90%. Unlike when I had a glass screen protector, it only worked maybe 40% (before I read about the "wetness" trick). But I'm trying to decide on a new glass screen protector just so I can test the theory because I prefer glass and I've waited years for Samsung to have a flat screen (on a pink phone) so that I could finally use glass screen protectors.

I really like "bulky" type cases since it makes the phone easier to hold and also feels like you're holding your phone. Anywho, I use clear or glitter hybrid 3 n 1 cases from either: DueDue, Lamcase or Coolwee. Or the Spigen Ultra Hybrid clear case, Speck clear or glitter or Otterbox Symmetry clear or glitter. For a screen protector I would suggestion a film/tpu type because it's more reliable with the fingerprint sensor. I've tried at least 5 different glass screen protectors that said "fingerprint compatible" but none really were, even after all the troubleshooting.

Also in my experience once the phone says it's done, it's not fully done. You may need to wait another 20 minutes or so for EVERYTHING to update/transfer to the phone. At least that's what it was for me coming from an s20 to the s22 plus. But I also didn't transfer everything over because the s22 plus only came in 256g 😞 So I had to leave some stuff behind on my s20 (that I still own thankfully). Congrats on the s22 Ultra, hope you like it! SIDE NOTE- I wish all models came in 512g since we can't use SD cards

Since the last security update there's been an issue with Google Duo notifications not sounding when my daughter calls me from her iPhone. She has to text to let me know she's trying to use Duo and I'll go to the app and then I'm able to see she's calling. But if I don't go to the app I have no sound/vibration or pop-up notification letting me know she's calling until she hangs up. Then I get a missed duo call notification and pop-up. Samsung can you and Google get together and fix this please?! It's the only way I can "FaceTime" with my daughter as she has an iPhone and I have an s22 plus. I've tried all the troubleshooting steps: (uninstall/reinstall updates since you cant completely uninstall the app, turning off the knock knock feature in Duo, disabling At&t video chat, clearing data/cache, turning on all notification categories, restarting my phone, making sure my daughter Google Duo is up to date and having her restart her phone), nothing has worked. PLEASE FIX GOOGLE DUO!!

I actually agree with the OP. On my s22 plus the fingerprint sensor isn't as good as it is on my s20. And it doesn't matter if I have screen protector on or not or whether it's glass or film. It's just not reliable 😕 .
