I get the SmartThings app in notifications that allows me to pick which speaker plays the audio coming out of my phone. This works. Thank you.

It's not that it's hard to activate, its just that the animations are bad. I would've attached a video to show what I mean but it wasn't working.

I'm pretty sure edge lighting was always restricted to the little pop-up when you had it on. If you didn't have the app selected it would just send a normal detailed notification.

I have never seen this issue. My phone is an unlocked version on T-Mobile. Something I always do after an update is wipe the cache partition.

Desktop displays can but just more expensive to do. From what I heard the reason they don't let you is because the exynos chip they use in other countries cannot do it so they disable the feature for snapdragon phones to try to keep features in parity.

I had to turn off full screen gestures as well, it was really hard to swipe in the correct spot. we definitely need a fix for this, I've been using gestures for so long I keep swiping on my icons now🤦

You can also turn on notification history by going to settings>notifications>advanced settings. It will record your notifications so if your phone powers off, you can still view them.
