Well, this seems to be the most informed response I’ve seen to what seems to be a VERY common problem. I am (was) an electrical engineer, but I’m retired now, and debugging and repairing mechanical problems is no longer interesting to me, if I could even do it anymore. These days I just assume these things will work for decades; apparently Samsung doesn’t feel the same way. Sigh, I guess I’ll have to get the tech manual and try to find someone who can follow directions. Thank you so much for your efforts to do a detailed diagnosis of this problem! Samsung owes you a new refridgerator at least!
