Yeah, that is why I liked cortana. It was a real assistant until Microsoft killed it. It wasn't limited as to what the calendar was able to do on its own.

And another thing, I complained about it somewhere. Members? Contact us? And they replied. I was busy at the time and moved on with what I was doing. Now I have no idea where that reply was. Was it email, text message, something in here, something somewhere else. So I can't find out what they said. Nothing is ever easy. ... time passes ... Ah, it was in the Members App under "Get Help" at the bottom. AT least I found it. Now I'll read it... I'm guessing it will be a "thanks for your feedback" and be of no real help to get that feature put back in! ... time passes... So I determined that the number they told me to call was just Samsung Support for Health app. So I went to the web page and started a chat. The person I talked to said some customers are having problems and the software team is supposed to provide an update in a week. Sounds promising. We'll find out if the person knew what they were talking about and if I get an update. He made it sound like EVERYONE would not get the update. Said my IMEI would make sure they updated my phone.

What resolution happens when the 4k video is cast to a 4k TV? Does it still only do the resolution of the phone? Or what if the phone is running Dex on the 4k TV. is Dex playback limited to phone resolution?

Well, apparently it eventually syncs. Even though I did a "sync now" on both phones, it didn't make any difference. Apparently Microsoft Exchange syncs when it feels like it. At least it DOES work.

Yep, I never even noticed the icon. Even in the middle of a voice call one can press the icon and voila, video. Don't know if there are extra charges from att to use it, but there was no warning about it. Also haven't checked if it also works when not using wifi. Will check it out thanks.

I bought a Samsung Galaxy Express 3 with none of those problems. Then I replaced it with the exact same model and I have the problem. It won't dismiss my alarm. It wouldn't let me answer one call, but let me answer others.

It's a beautiful device. I'm pretty annoyed with the Samsung apps though, like the camera being integrated with gallery instead of google photos. Managing a samsung account shouldn't be required for basic functions IMO but it's probably pretty seamless for past galaxy users

Well, I just renamed the folder and somehow it found it at the new location. So it made it easy to use, but, being a programmer, I'd still like to know where it keeps that information.

Ah yes, I didn't see that at first. Thanks. I also found a place in settings that shows fast wireless charging and the amount of battery left. (like 19hours) and on that page it actually adds some text that SAYS it is fast charging, when it is.

My contacts are synced with Outlook. I see there were apparently two contacts linked in Outlook. So I think when it was showing the old number, it was getting it from a linked contact. So I have deleted the link and I think everything is ok now. MAYBE that was the whole problem. Not 100% sure.

I called the number, and as I expected, they were of little help. Once again a generic type response, "Our technicians are working on it, try to clear the cache and reboot". Of course, that didn't make any difference. First off, I think I was remembering my Windows 10 Lumia phone tracking on the map and not the Samsung. However, the Samsung DOES track my movement if I click on the walking exercise icon. When I just go for a walk, the S10 phone does track steps and distance and time, but doesn't track it on the map. I don't know why, since it automatically starts tracking steps, that it doesn't track it on the map. Especially since when it determines that you have stopped walking, it SHOWS a map (with no path on it). I think this is a software oversight. I hope they change it, but I doubt my complaint got passed on to the developers.

I THINK I got it. I found the Photos app in the default apps. I did a "clear defaults" or some such and I think that fixed. Not totally for sure yet, because I don't know what I accidentally selected originally.
But I'm going to say that was it.

I found it. The "roaming clock" seems to have been set to South Korea on my wife's phone. I probably changed mine and not hers at some point.

Thanks for your answer. I already got it from another answer. But I liked that you have the full path to where that option was. Good to get familiar with the hierarchy, though once I knew the magic word was "lift", I just searched to find it.
Thanks again.

What I was able to figure out and I THINK is right:
1. The default Contacts app didn't update photos UNTIL outlook app was running also. And some still don't get updated if they came from a web page being specified in the Contact on the web.
2. The duplicates seem to have come from ALL the Contacts on the web being downloaded. That included the Contacts AND the contents of the Deleted folder and maybe the Suggested folder. Once the Deleted folder was emptied, then almost all of the duplicates were eliminated.
p.s. Some of the duplicates came because Outlook on the web didn't read in first names when it imported an excel backup.
... time passes ...
Maybe it wasn't that Outlook needed to be running, but rather when I ran Outlook, I also was plugged into power. So it might be that the photos don't download unless powered. Looked around for something in settings that might be controlling that, but didn't find anything.

@Mtiede The backup account usually is the default google account. You can only change it if you have multiple google accounts. If you do not want to backup, you can just uncheck Backup My Data
Samsung account also backs up seletcted data which you can define in Samsung account settings.
If a response solves your query, please don't forget to mark it as "Accept as Solution". Enjoy!
