My setup - 65” Q90T with Bose 700 Soundbar Issue - TV wasn’t turning off via Samsung Remote Analysis - no fault of Samsung or Bose, I found that eARC isn’t stable enough to execute a complete shut-down sequence. Solution - After reading other users posts in noticed some had recommended a different remote to solve this problem. I selected a Logitech Harmony 665. This remote sends separate shut-down commands to both the Soundbar and TV. By sending separate shut-down commands, the shut-down sequence doesn’t rely upon the eARC communication between the soundbar and tv to complete the shut-down sequence. Issue resolved, my TV no longer comes back on. My Samsung TV and Bose Soundbar are connected via eARC and my TV no longer comes back on after shutting down.
