I think I fixed it. However, I don't know how exactly... The last thing I did was disable every option in the advanced section of the Bluetooth settings. I am too scared to start messing with it again to uncover which of the options fixed it... If you try, let the rest know!

I have noticed a pretty annoying bug in my s10. When I connect my phone to a car, speaker, or headphone over Bluetooth in order to listen to music, the audio sounds compressed. What I mean by that is the audio quality is noticeably lower which results in crackling and distortion.
A few weeks ago I managed to temporarily fix it by disabling the “calls” option in the options of the Bluetooth device. However, I noticed that after the latest update, this fix does not work anymore. I have spent the past few hours looking for a new fix but I haven’t found anything.
My troubleshooting steps so far:
Tried AUX cable, distortion went away
Booted in Safe Mode, same issue
Checked EQ settings, they were flat / "Normal"
Removed phone from car's Bluetooth device list and re-added
Tried every Bluetooth audio codec
Tried increasing sample / bit rate
Disabled battery optimization
Allowed background activity
Cleared app cache
Disabled volume normalization
Ensured high quality was selected for cellular and Wi-Fi
Tried downloading and using download cache to play music
Tried Google Music, same quality
Tried YouTube Music, same quality
