video output settings won't show unless you have the one connect box Q80r version. Otherwise have game mode on the tv and have performance mode on the PS5. Start up Cold War or any other game that is capable of 120hz. Click the home button and the game console source, you should see resolution and hz both at 120hz. If not make sure ray tracing is disabled in Cold War.

I got it to work, I was playing on the PS4 Cold War version not the PS5 version. The weird thing is, my PS5 should show 120hz in the video output settings and it doesn't. But when I go to Cold War PS5 version it does automatically change to 1080p @120hz now. So that's good, still don't know why in settings screen & video, why doesn't it show 120hz in the video output section.

I have tried everything to get 120hz on my PS5. I changed settings to performance mode in the PS5. I have put game mode on with free sync basic and ultimate. I changed resolution to everything 1080p and 4K. Nothing is registering on the PS5 that the tv does 120hz?? When I'm pretty sure it does on hdmi input 4. Help!!!!!

I am also having issues with my apple tv to the soundbar. I have the Q80R TV and the HW-Q80R soundbar. I have both my playstation 4(HDMI 1) and Apple TV 4k (HDMI 2) hooked up to the soundbar, and then the ARC from soundbar to ARC on the TV. Everything works great except 1 thing. I cannot change sources to my Apple TV using the tv universal remote. I click- HOME- SOURCE- home theater- Anynet+- Apple TV. After clikcing all that, it still just sits on my current source which is HDMI 2 on my soundbar (PS4). It wont change the soundbar setting to HDMI 1 (Apple TV) The only way for my to change my sources now, seems to be using the soundbar remote and click the source button until HDMI 1 pops up. Is there a solution to this, or does there need to be a firmware update for my samsung tv remote to control my samsung soundbar source for apple tv? Changing from apple tv to Playstation 4 works great, also turning off the tv with my remote shuts off playstation, tv , and soundbar, but does nothing to the apple tv, unless I have the universal remote set up to control my apple tv and i have to be in that setting at that time. but even having the samsung remote control the apple tv, it still refuses to let me change sources when im on my playstation, unless i use the soundbar source button. Thanks
