Still going on huh?
I bought a Samsung QN65Q6F Flat 65" QLED 4K UHD 6 Series Smart TV 2018
Planned on using ARC to run signal back to my Onkyo NR575 . . . that worked for a couple fo days befor ARC started being wonky. After not wanting to spend more time on it (after my wife would turn on the TV and wonder why it wasn't working) I saw one guy just bought a roku (the roku I had wouldn't work for some reason, so I needed to upgrade to an Ultra) to solve the issue . . . so I went ahead and did that.
For about 5-6 months that worked fine, but now the Roku signal out of the Onkyo is only intermittent . . . even though the Roku works fine connected directly to the TV, and everything else running through the Onkyo is fine.
Figured I would check back and see of Samsung had resolved the ARC issues (since if that were true I could stop worrying about this new issue) . . . guess not.
So in the last year I've bought a new TV, new receiver, and new Roku so on the off chance I sit down to watch something it will sound OK . . . nope . . . none of it wants to play well together. Well done everyone. Well done.
