@pmjeterjr  I downloaded CCSWE and disabled the services that you outlined. It does fix the problem, in a way... The charging/battery status no longer appeared on the AOD, however on my device it completely disabled the AOD... Which is something that I actually do use. I have it scheduled to turn off at night and turn back on in the morning. This service was completely disabled even though it appeared to be on when I looked in settings for lock screen--with no response when tapping it. I decided to re-enable all of these functions in the CCSWE app, but to no avail. I had to uninstall the app in order to regain the AOD functionality. I guess I'm just stuck with things the way they are, until Samsung decides to send us a patch to fix this oversight in the UI. I guess I shouldn't hold my breath, huh? Thanks for your help.  ... Were you able to remove the charging information from the AOD using CCSWE? I have tried Good Lock app and that has had no effect on the issue. Please tell us how you were about to remove the charging information prompt. ... View more

This absolutely needs to be fixed! I posted yesterday with similar concerns to the other individuals who have posted on this board. The prompt is very bright--quite disturbing in a dark room if one is trying to sleep. Please escalate this, developers need to send us an update that will provide us with the option of disabling the charging information on the AOD. Hello! I just upgraded my device to a Note 10+ 2 days ago and have noticed the same issue. When I have the 'always on' screen 'off'  the charging notification re: battery status and time until full remain on! The ambient light is very irritating, in particular if you keep your phone at the bedside and charge it during the night.   I've tried everything, including turning off various system notifications in the System UI app that deal with the battery--nothing worked. I spent almost an hour today with Samsung tech support and they could not help me. The issue has been "escalated," and I was told I would be contacted with a solution (I'm not holding my breath).   It seems to me that it is a design flaw inherent in the UI (was not an issue on my Note 8).
