I've had another look at my device. Last update was last Friday 20 Sept. According to staff at samsung store this was the fix. Since I had removed my sim to use in old phone I had no idea until staffer showed me today. Too bad the community wasn't informed. Anyway for those of you who may have removed the sim I suggest you give it another go like I did. So far the IMS error message is gone! YEAH!!
