I totally regret buying my Samsung flexdry. I have done my research and found out that the flexdry vent sensor blinks and stays steady because of the vent exhaust possiblely clogged or too much moisture.
I have had 3 different opinion technicians take a look at my dryer. First technician, told me to clean out the vents from the dryer vent that connects to the dryer to the wall exhaust. I had told him they were all clear and clean before our move in to our home 2 years ago. He left and I thought that wasa easy fix to double check again and found out all my ducklings were clear a free. Well, that wasn't the case because just after 2 days after operating with the technician the sensor icon came back to blinking, then steady light icon. The second technician came to take a look at the dryer and he had no explanation on why the vent sensor was blinking or staying with a steady lite icon. So, all he did was come to the service appointment and left telling me he will have to get with his Superior technician to do some research, so I told him don't bother because he was a waste of my time. Finally, a technician that knew what he was doing and very knowledgeable. I explained the situation and the past technician failer to fixing or telling me the exact problem with my flexdry. He double checked all the ducting and check measurements. He told me my exhaust ducking had 6 elbow joints and the leath from my dryer to the exterior of the home was too long with out a dryer duck booster.
Well, after buying my expensive flexdry has giving me a waste of my money and time with figuring out what is wrong with the sensitive exhaust vent icon blinking and steady lite icon.
So, anyone who is having this problem and haven't gotten answers well here it is.
You will need to do all the steps in cleaning the entire exhaust ducking, then buy a Tjernlund LB2 dryer duck booster with status panel ul-705 listed dedpv (costing over $300) and the problem will no longer exist.
Well, after I paid over $1,300 on a dryer has costed me over $300 in a Tjernlund LB2 dryer duck booster with status panel ul-705 listed dedpv, 3 technicians, headaches and plenty of time wasting hasn't been worth buying the dryer. Hope this helps anyone and hope I can post a review to prevent people not to by the flexdry dryer. Good luck
