You should have a dedicated button for it. It's in quick settings in the notification panel. If It's not there, go to the 3 dots in top right hand corner and press "Edit buttons". I think you should find it there.

I hate it when my note 10 blacks out as soon as I take a call. I'm on android 11 oneui 3.0 and can't find an option to turn off the proximity sensor.

i literally cannot find the option. I've went through the settings and i see is '"how when messages are delivered" and "view messages on sim card". Help please! I'm on android 11 oneui 3.0 by the way.

Thank you for confirming this.
Since you are still experiencing the same symptoms in safe mode and after wiping the system cache partition, I would try fully backing up your device and performing a factory reset. I know this may not be the ideal step to take but this will reset the device to its factory settings.
If you are still experiencing the symptoms after a factory reset, I recommend a technician evaluate the device.
